Richard Carlson was a man, and is a spirit who knows much about Loving Kindness. He walked the earth generously spreading as much love and kindness in small ways, as well as big ways, as humanly possible. He was selfless with his heart, generous with his pocketbook, and most of all, he reached out with his spirit. Richard Carlson was unchanged by his super success, and lived from his value system with the highest regard for integrity and choosing the purest actions- Kristine Carlson.
“Ask yourself: Is there any way I can become even more loving than I am? Can I fill my heart with more loving kindness? Can you, despite the fact that there are less than perfect people in our world, think loving thoughts about yourself and about others? Spread that love around as far as your mind will allow!” -Dr. Richard Calrson

One of the ways Andy chose to Heal and move forward after his bro of 27 years passed, was to “get back in the water” after a 15 year break. He asked Michael Byrne to shape him a board, our pal Sean D. created a cartoon of my brother’s nickname and he has not looked back. The ocean has truly provided so much peace and regrounding in Andy, that we now follow the “Swell” as well as our Hearts. :))

What an amazing event ! The whole spirit of the fair is to Honor and Celebrate Angels. So many expressions of remembering that we all remain connected even when the physical body is shed. Souls are Forever connected.
One of my favorite things was this long, long line of cars and trucks where the owners had created with so much care and detail “Shrines” to Celebrate their Loved one.
It was truly moving how each Shrine was meant to simply SHARE and brag about their Angels and the DEEP LOVE that STILL LIVES, and breathes. I could fully connect and felt so grateful and inspired by all the different ways to keep the FUN and spirit ALIVE.
To live in hearts we leave behind
Is not to die.

Long before Richard Simmons and Jane Fonda and the Atkins diet, Mr. LaLanne was a national celebrity, preaching regular exercise and proper diet. Expanding on his television popularity, he opened dozens of fitness studios under his name, later licensing them to Bally. He invented the forerunners of modern exercise machines like leg-extension and pulley devices. He marketed a Power Juicer to blend raw vegetables and fruits and a Glamour Stretcher cord, and he sold exercise videos and fitness books. He invited women to join his health clubs and told the elderly and the disabled that they could exercise despite their limitations.

Celebrating your Angel by releasing balloons can be a healing activity to do anytime or as a way to mark special occasions, like your Angel’s Birthday, etc.
PLEASE always consider wild life by HAND TYING balloons, ribbons and clips have harmed many birds and marine life, as well as litter the earth.

Never afraid to go his own route, Todd Chesser was an experienced waterman and an accomplished big wave charger who made a career and countless friends as a globe-trotting big wave surfer. A highly likeable guy who loved nothing more than to share a memorable surf session with friends, Chesser lost his life doing just that during a big swell on the North Shore in February, 1997.
The brave may not live forever, but the cautious don’t live at all.
